Sharp competition in ax throwing league

The Mid-Mon Valley’s resident Viking, James Saul, will channel his ancestors this weekend as he gears up for a new season of his favorite sport — ax throwing.

Saul, of West Newton, first picked up an ax while working at a Renaissance festival as a teenager.
