McKeesport to get nearly $3 million in grant money

Upgrades are coming to McKeesport’s municipal parking garage and the Steel Valley Trail thanks to a state Multimodal Grant that was awarded to the city Tuesday.

Nearly $3 million in grant funding “will help bolster downtown McKeesport,” according to an announcement issued by state Sen. Jim Brewster and state Rep. Austin Davis, both Mc-Keesport Democrats.
