Suit claims race behind firing from Meadows

A Washington Township woman has filed a federal lawsuit against The Meadows casino for alleged racial discrimination and retaliation.

Attorney Samuel Cordes filed the suit on behalf of former Meadows employee Karen Baughman last week at Western Pennsylvania’s U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh. The suit names the casino’s parent company, Pinnacle Entertainment, as the defendant.
