Election registration deadline upcoming

In an attempt to encourage high voter turnouts, the elections divisions of several Mon Valley counties announced Thursday that residents who wish to vote in the Nov. 6 general election must be registered by Oct. 9.

Registered voters who have moved or changed their name or party affiliation must also notify their respective county’s elections division by Oct. 9.
