Despite a 7-1 loss to Brentwood Tuesday, the Monessen boys soccer team has made a statement so far this season.

Heading into Tuesday, the Greyhounds (5-2-2, 4-2-1) had won four consecutive games and outscored opponents, 16-6, proving to be a legitimate threat in Section 4-A.
