BVA puts $4 million bond issue on hold

Belle Vernon Area School Board on Monday postponed all action on a $4 million bond issue, pending receipt of more information.

During their agenda meeting, board members voted to remove two resolutions from the subsequent general meeting’s business: the incurring of non-electoral debt through the issuance of one or more series of general obligation bonds and allowance for use of a portion of the bond proceeds to reimburse the district for capital expenditures.
