Ringgold launches app

Ringgold School District has launched its own app and it’s available for both Android and iPhone smartphone devices.
The app is available in Google Play and the Apple store and it is completely customizable to each user.
An app is a computer application designed to run on a mobile device, such as a phone, tablet or watch.
Kevin McCabe, director of educational technology, gave a presentation on the smartphone application during Wednesday night’s meeting.
McCabe explained that the app will pull all of the information posted to various district social media accounts — including each building’s Facebook and Twitter feeds — into one place.
