White Oak residents furious over sewage backup

Tensions and emotions were high at White Oak’s council meeting Monday night as several residents complained that raw sewage backed up into their homes during rainstorms caused by Tropical Storm Gordon last week.

They wanted to know why the backup occurred, who is responsible and what preventative measures are being taken.
