Donora seeks sewage answers

When Ruth Koontz left Monday’s meeting of the Mon Valley Sewage Authority, she was hopeful.

Her Gilmore Avenue residence has flooded six times this year, most recently last week after more than six inches of rain fell in the Mon Valley. That left her with more than a foot of raw sewage in her basement and damage to $20,000 in items that had just been replaced after a June flood.
