Author meets fans in appearance at Cal U

Kimberly Vanderlaan, an English professor at California University of Pennsylvania, says she likes to assign books that students enjoy reading.

She’s found over the years that her students like works from T.C. Boyle, a short story and novel writer from the state of California, so she started an email correspondence with him to better integrate his writing into her classes.
