Monessen child abuse suspect arrested

A Monessen man accused of beating and burning his 1-year-old son is in prison.

David Allen Jackson Jr., 28, of Reed Avenue was arrested around 8:30 a.m. Thursday on charges of aggravated assault of a victim less than 6 years old and simple assault.
