Donora family sees return of sewage nightmare

Just when Ruth Koontz thought it was safe to store her belongings in her basement again, the latest in a string of “100-year storms” hit the Mid-Mon Valley.
Nearly 6.3 inches of rain fell in Donora in 72 hours, according to the National Weather Service.
