Anthem controversy comes to Forward Twp.

Several Forward Township residents want to see members of the Elizabeth Forward football team standing on the sidelines for the national anthem.

The team stayed in the locker room prior to Friday night’s Interstate Conference game against Burrell at Warriors Stadium. Members of Burrell’s team also stayed in the locker room.
