McKeesport, Monessen receive gun violence reduction funding

Gov. Tom Wolf and state Sen. Jim Brewster, D-McKeesport, announced Friday the state is releasing funding to help two cities in the Mon Valley reduce gun violence.
Brewster said McKeesport, in Allegheny County, will receive $149,999 in state funds to support gun violence reduction initiatives. Monessen, in Westmoreland County, will receive $24,013.
