McKeesport Art Group hosting annual show

For the past 60 years, members of the McKeesport Art Group have been putting their talents on display in hopes that a local critic with an eye for art would insist on purchasing their piece.
But the members at the opening of the special 60th Anniversary Art Show at the McKeesport History & Heritage Center last week said even if they don’t sell their original work, they are simply happy to have their neighbors, friends and strangers come out and please their mind’s eye, and even perhaps “find the deeper meaning” in the art, as one member said.
