Abandoned row house in Glassport destroyed by fire

Firefighters in Glassport were feeling the heat in more than one way Tuesday.
With temperatures in excess of 90 degrees, and the humidity making it feel closer to 95 degrees, according to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh, The Citizens Hose Co. of Glassport Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the 700 block of Oak Way shortly after 1 p.m. for a two-alarm residential fire.
