McKeesport pulls away from Connellsville

Penalties slowed down McKeesport in the first quarter Friday, but nothing else did the rest of the night.

The Tigers (1-0, 2-0) were able to run and pass at will in a 57-14 win over visiting Connellsville in the Class 5A Big East Conference lidlifter. After a penalty-plagued opening frame, McKeesport to opened it up in the second quarter thanks to a quick-strike offense and a stingy defense.
