Elizabeth man accused of raping 2 women

An Elizabeth man who was arrested for raping a hearing impaired woman last month is behind bars again on allegations he raped another woman in 2007.
Shawn Carr, 33, of Elizabeth is accused of raping the 24-year-old woman in the bathroom of a Pittsburgh apartment last month while her boyfriend was asleep.
The woman told police the incident happened July 14 at a friend’s apartment where Carr was visiting.
Carr is also hearing impaired, an affidavit of probable cause states.
The woman told police she was laying on the couch with her boyfriend, who was asleep, when Carr grabbed her wrist and forced her into a bathroom.
