Editorial: Dangerous heat has returned

School may be back in session, but it only takes a few seconds outside to realize that summer is a long way from over.

Intense heat and humidity have returned to the Mid-Mon Valley this week, creating an inconvenience for most of us, but a legitimate health concern for people who are sick, elderly or whose jobs require a lot of outside work.
