Cal U welcomes World War II exhibit

Cortney Daugherty studies communication disorders as a graduate student at California University of Pennsylvania and never had much of an interest in history. That is, until she started vigorously researching local World War II history to help put together one half of an exhibit at the university.

“Even in college I wasn’t crazy about history, but when (I was asked) to do this, I started really getting intrigued by it and I thought it was really neat to learn about all of these local people who actually served,” Daugherty said. “And once I started, I couldn’t stop.”
