Charleroi man accused of assaulting sheriff’s deputy

A Charleroi man is accused of assaulting a Washington County sheriff’s deputy who attempted to serve him with a protection from abuse order on Tuesday.

John R. Wallace Jr., 59, of Crest Avenue is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct.
