State Senate leaders criticize EPA rules

State Senate Republicans leaders are criticizing the Environmental Protection Agency’s new power plant emission rules aimed to reduce pollution in a joint statement. State Senate President Kim Ward, R-Hempfield, and Sens. Joe Pittman and Scott Martin referred to the new regulations as “yet another disastrous policy that will hurt electricity consumers and make our grid less reliable.”
