Mildred ‘Millie’ J. Klisowski – Monessen

Mildred “Millie” J. Klisowski, 78, of Monessen passed away on March 2, 2024. She was born in Norfolk, Va., on June 26, 1945, daughter of the late Payton and Nina Black Parrish. Millie was Christian by faith. She was a very caring and compassionate person who loved gardening. She worked on the “Labor Gang” at Coming Glass for 30-plus years prior to her retirement. She was also the owner and operator of “Millie K’s” personal care home for 9 1/2 years. ln addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Edward Christopher “Chris” Jarabeck and Payton Turner; sister, Wavel Parrish; brother, Warner Max “De De” Parrish; aunt and uncle, Jafa and Estelle Parrish; and her dear friends, Beverly Oliver and Patti Lepresti. Surviving are her daughter, Dianna Jarabeck Ferrara and husband Bart of Monessen; her son­, Clarence S. and wife Brenda Turner of Collinsburg; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; family members, Brenda Parrish, Shirley (Ron, deceased) Smith, Vickie Parrish McNair, Donald Parrish, David McKnight; and several cousins.
