A Washington, Pa., man was killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 70 near Fallowfield Township just before midnight Tuesday.
Chace Johnson, 25, was the driver and only occupant of a vehicle that hit a tractor-trailer.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco.
According to Warco, Johnson was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of the highway when his car struck a tractor-trailer near the Speers exit.
Both vehicles came to rest near the median.
According to WTAE, a truck driver’s dash camera captured a video of the vehicle heading the wrong way in the left lane past tractor-trailers before the crash.
