Gardner’s 64-point game leads Greyhounds over Cal

Whether you remember Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game in 1962 or even Kobe Bryant’s 81-point effort in 2006, some scoring records are indescribable. Monessen’s Lorenzo Gardner etched his name in WPIAL basketball scoring history Friday night against California, as the senior forward poured in 64 points in a 90-59 triumph that clinched the outright, Section 2-1A title for the Greyhounds.
