Kettle drive reaches goal, but some area branches didn’t

While the 2023 Red Kettle Campaign in the Salvation Army’s Western Pennsylvania Division exceeded its fundraising goal overall, locally the kettle was not as full as leaders hoped. With 24 hours left in the campaign, which ends Christmas Eve each year, Capt. Angie Smith of the Salvation Army Mon Valley Worship and Service Center said her branch was about $21,000 short of its goal of $65,000.
