Michael Brazzon Jr. – Perryopolis

Michael Brazzon Jr., 86, of Perryopolis, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at Uniontown Health & Rehab in Uniontown. Born Feb. 25, 1937, in Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Tomalski Brazzon. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 60 years, he was formerly from Fairhope. Mr. Brazzon was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Dona Shetterly Brazzon, with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in December; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tarah Brazzon of Connellsville; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jay Lutz; sister, Rosella George; and four grandchildren, Ryker, Lyla, Finn and Elias. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Teddy, Nip and Bobby Brazzon; and sister, Clara Daniels. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Tom Ravasio officiating at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS LLC, family owned and operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Uniontown Health and Rehab for the comfort and care given to Michael.
