McKeesport NAACP holds Martin Luther King Day celebration

Members of McKeesport’s African American community gathered Sunday evening at the Zion Baptist Church on Locust Street to celebrate the life and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The two-hour presentation, sponsored by the McKeesport Unit of the NAACP, brought together groups from many local churches, celebrating Dr. King through music, mime, dance and theatrical performances.
