Betty M. Dolan, 94, of Richeyville passed away on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024. Born on May 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Burcin) Kruell. She was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Charleroi, where her husband was a deacon, and she was very involved in church activities. She had worked as a dental assistant and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Betty is survived by her sons, Thomas Dolan of Oakland, Md., and Pat (June) Dolan of Bethel Park; grandchildren, Jason Dolan, Haden Cramer, Tessa Dolan, Elizabeth (Schell) Lin and Mark (Katy) Dolan; great-granddaughter, Charlotte Lin; cousin, Betty Wright of North Charleroi; and niece, Trudy Popson of Roscoe. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Deacon Jack Dolan; sister, Joan Carlisle; and sister-in-law, Grace Popson. Friends will be received from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 509 Sixth St., Charleroi, with interment following at Maple Creek Cemetery.
