Donora plans to reopen budget

Donora Council will likely vote to reopen the 2024 budget when it meets next Thursday. Councilwoman DeAnne Pavelko has been named finance chair for council as the new council members take their positions for the year. She asked that a motion be placed on next week’s agenda to reopen the budget so that it can be studied at the February work session and a new spending plan can be adopted prior to the Feb. 15 deadline.
