Bartolotta part of probation reform

A Mon Valley state senator was part of a bipartisan effort to reform Pennsylvania’s probation system that is now set for enactment into law. State Sen. Camera Bartolotta, R-Carroll Township, worked with Sen. Lisa Baker, R-Luzerne County, who was the prime sponsor, and Sen. Anthony H. Williams, D-Philadelphia, to introduce the bill that is aimed at implementing greater fairness in the process, eliminating excessive incarceration, giving individuals a more reliable second chance to get their lives right and offering taxpayers a break from rising correctional costs.
