MARC donation will buy second AED for Monongahela police

The Monongahela Area Revitalization Corporation presented the City of Monongahela a check for the full amount of an automated external defibrillator during Monday’s council work session. The $2,288.14 check will be used to purchase an AED, which will be placed in one of the city’s police vehicles. The Monongahela Police Department constantly has three patrol vehicles on the city’s streets, two of which will now carry an AED. MARC President George Eckert said MARC voted unanimously to make the donation.
