Belle Vernon Borough truck stolen

Belle Vernon Mayor Gerald Jackson announced at Tuesday’s council meeting that a borough truck with tools inside was stolen Monday night outside the municipal building.  “We’ve now (taken) some precautionary measures,” Jackson said. “But it happens in every community every day — people getting robbed, but I don’t want to read about it later on saying, ‘We didn’t address it.’”
