Local couple pens new kids’ book inspired by their son’s ‘very best day’

Earlier this year, Elizabeth-area 2-year-old Robbie Crall found a children’s book in his Easter basket. When he sat with his grandfather to look through it, his grandfather began to notice some striking similarities between the anthropomorphic monkey characters and himself. “He went, ‘somebody stole my story!’” his daughter Victoria Crall said. Victoria explained – she and her husband Robert Crall wrote the book, heavily inspired by him and his relationship with his grandson. Then, he cried.
