A green Ford Mustang drove through the porch of a New Eagle home before cutting through a yard and colliding with a neighboring home.
Responding police officers and witnesses said the driver possibly suffered a seizure around 4 p.m. while headed south on Main Street, speeding through the banked turn near the borough post office.
The vehicle drove through supporting columns of the porch at 201 Main St. before rolling roughly 30 yards and crashing into the foundation of 199 Main St.
Neighbor Holly Medlen was sitting on her porch when the car smashed into the concrete wall.
“I called 911,” Medlen said. “It sounded like the whole house collapsed.”
Firefighters from New Eagle, Carroll Township, Valley Inn, Monongahela fire departments, along with Tri Community Ambulance, reported to the scene.
