5 area libraries benefit from $3.8M in RAD funding

The Board of the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD) voted Thursday to grant $3.8 million to five Mon Valley libraries. The first-of-their-kind grants will go toward capital projects and building upgrades at Braddock Carnegie Library, Carnegie Free Library of Swissvale, the Carnegie Library of McKeesport, Clairton Public Library and Carnegie Library of Homestead.
