Fallowfield resident receives prestigious firefighter award

Fallowfield Township native Wayne E. Ray was honored this week with a prestigious award for his lifelong service as a firefighter and volunteer. The Firefighters’ Association of the State of Pennsylvania presented its 58th Awards program and awarded Ray the James A. Miller “B” Award during the Southwestern Chiefs Meeting held at the Belle Vernon Fire Co. Wednesday evening.
