Donora Smog book to be released this month

When looking for a publisher for a book about the historic Donora Smog incident, Andy McPhee figured he’d try someone at University of Pittsburgh Press. “She wrote back almost immediately, ‘I’ve been looking for this book for four years,’” McPhee said. His book, “Donora Death Fog,” an extensively researched retelling of the smog event that focuses on the stories of the residents affected by it, will be released in late March.
