12 local projects included in LSA recommendations

Twelve Mon Valley projects were included in a list of recommendations by the Washington County Local Share Account Review Committee. The committee recently reviewed applications for LSA funding, which is generated through the county’s share of gaming revenues derived from Hollywood Casino at the Meadows. Jeff Kotula, LSA committee chairman, said 87 applications were submitted this year and 45 are being recommended to the Washington County Board of Commissioners.
