First-place Waynesburg outlasts Charleroi

Late in the third quarter of Thursday’s Section 4-3A game against Waynesburg Central, Charleroi’s girls stole the momentum and had the Raiders right where they wanted them. After trailing by eight at the half, the Cougars had it down to a two-point deficit. But a turnover and seven straight points from Waynesburg’s Kaley Rohanna, turned the tables again as the Raiders were able to outlast the Cougars for a 64-55 win.
