Westmoreland County: Task force announces plan for increased internet access

Westmoreland County Commissioners recently released a final report of a months-long broadband connectivity study. In August, public officials began to map internet access throughout the county. Leaders assert the data will allow the county to take advantage of federal funding programs that support reliable and affordable internet to underserved communities.
