Firefighter honored for rescuing elderly resident

Dunlevy council honored a local firefighter Tuesday for his heroic rescue of an elderly resident from a house fire in November. Mayor J. Ross Landman praised Charleroi fire engineer Terry Younkin and presented two honorary plaques for his acts in the line of duty. “In appreciation for his heroic effort, we would like to publicly honor and thank Mr. Terry Younkin, a member of the Charleroi Fire Department,” Landman said.
