BVA drops section showdown

An early-season clash in Section 3-4A ended with Belle Vernon Area suffering its first section loss in nearly three years on Friday night. The Leopards allowed visiting Uniontown to go on two large runs in the second and third quarters before a valiant comeback attempt fell short down the stretch in a 79-64 setback.
