Holiday weekend off to bitter cold start

With temperatures set to remain dangerously low over the weekend, authorities across Southwestern Pennsylvania are focused on public health and transportation. Early Friday, an Arctic air front brought subzero conditions and strong winds to the region. Meteorologists reported that the wind chill reached -35 degrees Fahrenheit.
