Remembering the ‘dream backfield’

The Charleroi Cougars featured a “Dream Backfield” made up of four stars: Gary Hogan, Paul Strelick, Bob Hodgson and Mickey Bitsko – instrumental in carving out dream-like memories that fans remember forever. Hogan, the quarterback, played high school basketball and baseball and even won a few games with his foot, not his arm.
