Cougars get first playoff win since 2016

It wasn’t a picture-perfect performance, but the Charleroi girls soccer team is headed to the next round of the WPIAL playoffs. The No. 3 Cougars didn’t capitalize on as many opportunities as head coach Tom Cameron would have liked, but they did enough to come away with a 4-1 win over No. 14 Riverside in the first round of the 1A tournament at Myron Pottios Stadium.
