For the second straight game, South Allegheny was forced to turn to the 2-3 zone in order to come out on top as they pulled off a convincing 69-50 win over McKeesport on Friday night. “It was strictly because of foul trouble,” South Allegheny coach Tony DiCenzo said, regarding the team’s switch to the zone. “This is two games in a row that foul trouble has forced us to switch to a zone, and luckily we were able to adjust on the fly.”
