Monessen: City addresses boat launch safety issues

The Herman Mihalich Memorial River Launch and Park needs some serious work to make it safe, according to Monessen council and city engineers. The park is restricted now by orange plastic caution fencing and barricaded with signs declaring “No Trespassing” as officials grapple with what to do with the deteriorating barges the park is built upon.
