Washington County hosts final comprehensive plan open house

Officials hosted a third and final open house Wednesday for Washington County’s 2022 Comprehensive Plan.
The Washington County Planning Commission invited the public to comment on how the county can improve residents’ lives and preserve community assets.
Only a handful of county residents showed up for the open house, which was held at the Roscoe Volunteer Fire Co. social hall. County Planning Director Lisa Cessna expressed disappointment toward the turnout.
