Patricia Ann Story – Elrama

Patricia Ann Story, 75, of Elrama, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022, at AHN Jefferson Hospital. She was born July 23, 1946, in New Eagle, the daughter of George and Catherine Swoger Nakutis. Pat retired from the housekeeping department at DCK Corporation in Large, where she was employed for over 20 years. She was a member of the Elrama Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Pat enjoyed watching the ION channel on television, going to the casino and taking relaxing car rides. She is survived by her son, Randy Story and wife Christie of Elrama; daughter, Sherri Story of Monessen; three grandchildren, Deanna, Leanna and Jacob; best friend, Judy Williams of Dravosburg; and her furbabies, Miss Queenie Emily and Tazi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Story, who died Nov. 2, 1997; sister, Betty Bruce; and four brothers, Tom, Bill, George and James Nakutis. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 West Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 14, with the Rev. Jude Urso officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elrama Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 500, Elrama, PA 15038.
